This is really helpful to know ow that you can apply heat multiple times. I am planning to make a Jean jacket with lyrics all over it and am trying to figure out my strategy. I was worried if I do different sections separately vs the whole thing together it would mess it up.

I’ve had success with letting the base vinyl cool a little before removing the carrier sheet. Probably the same reasoning of holding the vinyl in place. But I want to try your way as well.

I admire your eco-consciousness. If I had seen this video before I ordered my Cricut Exporer 3, I might have gotten a Silhouette. I don't like businesses run like this either.
